Is Removal equal to Renewal?

Day before yesterday I implored my mum to finally remove my 10 year old nose ring.

As a matter of fact, I got this nose piercing done some ages ago, actually just when I took my first step into this big wild world.

I was almost 18 years of age, full of ambitions and desires, ready to accomplish my goals. Haha!

Life  does not plan out exactly like how you want it to be, and you don’t understand this while experiencing it, it’s later when you connect the dots that’s when you realize that oh damn! I never imagined that it would turn out to be like this for me.

Sometimes you let; certain events happen to you and some other time certain events just out of the blue takes place in your life when you were not anticipating it.

I underwent a catharsis during the process of removal of that pint-sized white gold nose ring

I know it’s a very stupid statement to make, but I felt it.

A very significant decade of my life got lifted off my shoulders, it’s surreal.

Obviously it was quite painful and it was so difficult to remove it, but with some help and willingness, I finally could able to completely get rid of it.

I believe it’s as easy as it sound.

If you have accepted yourself and your condition, and you are willing to ask for help from the right people around you and you are ready to take some actions to change, it will eventually happen.

Knowing what you don’t want is as important as having the clarity of what you really want from life.

It’s advisable to understand it as early as possible, but do take your time, and once you have reached to a certain decision then stick by it.

Staying with the choice which you have made for yourself is really the difficult part than making any decision.

Don’t compare your life to others, but try to remove the factors which are causing you pain and get renewed almost instantly.

Knowing those factors is actually the trick, to give you an insight, ask yourself this more often ‘what makes you happy other than money, food, shelter, clothes, entertainment and companionship?’ there has to be a purpose, there is that thing which you are most petrified to achieve because you are over thinking about: ‘what others would think’ but you somewhere know, that unattainable wish of yours will actually really make you come alive if only you dare to work for it.

Remove those fears, remove those thoughts, remove those inhibitions by facing them and ultimately begin your new journey of happiness.

I just related my first step towards transformation which I plucked up the courage to take, after so much of a melodrama and a long period of stagnancy, with something as skimpy as getting rid of a decade old nose ring.

What are you removing from yourself to get renewed?

Chasing Love or chasing what you love?

I call myself a nomad; a wanderer, I am mostly living in my imaginary world, the outside events just keep happening around me, and I most often tend to get succumb to those,  I feel such experiences over powers me into becoming this peculiar personality who is lost in her own world; aloof and not surrounded by the crowd. But when I sit with myself and ask what is that I truly desire, the only answer that follows is love! In search of which I’m running around like a maniac. But what kind of love and why love ? The basis of such un heard of mind-set develops since childhood and then it grows with external experiences, however the internal chemistry remains essentially unchanged no matter what happens around you. Life is always going to be unpredictable and challenging, what makes you, YOU! Shouldn’t change, one can evolve and learn but your core remains unaffected. Every time I end up chasing it I question myself why? You don’t need to run after it, it’s within you. It’s ...

Do the Dishes to dis the Discomfort!

As tongue twisting as it sounds, dish washing is genuinely like that job which you hate doing, but have to get succumb to it, because you want to eat those scrumptious meals and pickles and all those greasy stuff, as many times as you want to, but there isn’t any house help available, especially amidst this lock down. To be truthful, I have my whole family living together, and for us eating is like breathing(Exaggeration!),a lmost every hour every other person is found slurping or gulping something from the kitchen. Moreover, we have our beloved pets living with us,so there are separate set of utensils for them as well. Yes, our kitchen is open 24/7 for every creature, with our sink welcoming dishes like, one of those not so spacious but stuffed buses on the road which we see accommodating, countless passengers, as many as they can load, and even then, there is plenty of space left on the top, so they fill that area too, and if that is also occupied then we can see peopl...

Self Discovery: is it important?

Seldom have we found ourselves in the midst of monotony, only if we stop and question our state of mind from time to time! What is it which keeps us going? Is it our goals? Fear of unknown? Or is it our liabilities? In order to survive we do need to pay our bills, however to be able to cater our emotions we must understand the why of our existence. What make us unique from everyone else around us are our individual experiences and our response to those obstacles or opportunities which we face along our journey. Our intellect is the supreme entity but for it to function on an optimal level we must bestow it with a map which will ultimately provide us with various strategies to navigate our lives according to our priorities. From where will we find that map? Through our knowledge, experiences, the people we meet, the kind of principle with which we lead our lives. Life becomes droning, because we have hemmed in ourselves from exploring the plethora of knowledge, dif...
